Mindful Thanet are holding a special Open Meditation session during the Festival which anyone can attend.
The group normally meets at 6pm on Wednesday evenings to share in the experience of silent meditation – and sometimes guided relaxation.
For the Festival Lorraine Williams has devised a guided dream meditation suitable for anyone to participate in, whether or not you have prior experience of practicing mindfulness or meditation. The meditation is designed to honour the here and now as well as the past and future, for each of us and for Ramsgate.
The introduction and meditation will last 30 minutes and herbal tea will be served at the end when there will be a chance for participants to ask questions or share with the group, until 7pm.
Please arrive slightly early for a prompt start.
There is no charge to attend, any donations made will be donated to Ramsgate Festival.
The space at Archive is beautiful, light, spacious and airy and overlooks the harbour.
Mindful Thanet are grateful to Archive, for kindly allowing use of their upstairs room for this and the usual weekly Open Meditation sessions.
Children of any age are welcome providing they sit quietly during the meditation.

Please help the Festival!
We are dependent on fundraising to make our full programme happen this year and every year. Please consider supporting us with a donation to help secure the Festival and its future. If everyone in Ramsgate were to give just one a pound, imagine what we could achieve for the town!
Find out how you can help, watch our fun Kickstarter video, featuring actress Brenda Blethyn and a host of other Ramsgate people and please share the link with everyone you can think of who may like to help!
