Long long ago, lost in time, a great whale came to Ravensgate, as this place was once known. She liked it here and her presence was understood to be a great blessing, for the whale is the spirit of the deep and people knew in those days that this was a good omen. Now there is a rumour in town that the Ramsgate whale will return. This would be an event of great significance, for she brings a message. Hidden deep in her belly are stories of hope and wonder, stories for children and adults. To share with them her deep understanding of our connection to the sea, how the sea brings life, that the tide is turning and magic and wonder are to follow.
