12.00 – 2.00pm: the best in local talent and emerging performers from The Quarterdeck and Pie Factory,

Marilyn Sky – Soul / Pop / Reggae. 20 year-old Marilyn Sky has a voice that has been compared to Amy Winehouse. But…the comparison ends there. Marilyn and her 5-piece band perform a set of original upbeat tracks that fuse Pop, Reggae and Soul together with Latin flavour. Starting to get noticed, Marilyn is featured on ‘Bleeds’, the new album by Roots Manuva.
Newane – Soul / R’n’B / Pop. Newane are a 4-piece band fronted by the smooth vocals of Lauren Newane.
Big Steve – Acoustic / Alternative Pop Big Steve is the artist name for Singer / Songwriter Steve Warrington. With a voice to die for, the songs performed are beautifully crafted creations made with a keen eye on his social surroundings. Recently, Steve wrote a song about Ramsgate that was featured on BBC Radio 5 live.
Ross Uttridge – Country / Pop / Surf Singer / Songwriter Ross Uttridge has a set of original upbeat songs that have elements of country, surf rock, folk and pop. Performed with a 4-piece band, the sound is the perfect addition to summer.
5.00 – 9.00pm: Carnival Finale and Sea Life Parade
From 5pm the pace steps up a beat with music to move your feet to. Great British Carnival favourites, Rhythms of the City, Braceman and the legendary Soul Bloco get down and dirty with funk, soul, soca and samba, all leading up that traditional carnival highlight ‘the SeaLife Parade’ at 8.30pm
