A 300-foot water slide will descend Ramsgate’s iconic Royal Parade on 30th July, the last day of the Festival.
Inspired by an urban slide created by UK artist Luke Jerram, the Ramsgate Slide is a playful celebration of our maritime location and uses our lovely seafront in a different way, encouraging people to see the town in a new light!
Opportunities to slide will be allocated by a FREE online ballot which will close at midnight 24th July.
The above composite artists’ impression of The Ramsgate Slide is by Cathy Rogers and Jules Bigg, incorporating original photography of a similar urban slide installation by Luke Jerram.
