About the event
Join Mrs Benham on a time-travelling tour along Ramsgate’s High Street and through 300 years of social history. Stops include Sanger’s Amphitheatre, the photography studio of JC Twyman who captured some of the finest portraits of Ramsgate residents in the late 1800s, the Bull and George destroyed in a Zeppelin raid of 1915, and the birthplace of Netta Syrett, Victorian writer and feminist.

Where: The trail begins on the site of Sanger’s Amphitheatre (now the old Argos) on the High Street (opposite Hardres Street), and ends at the bottom of Harbour Street, overlooking the harbour.
