On Sunday the 6th of September, Vale square will be taken over by immense talent for our fabulous festival fiesta!

Lunatraktors are a Margate-based voice and percussion duo, whose eclectic, beat-driven take on traditional folk draws on flamenco, trip hop, blues and music hall. Recorded in Ramsgate, their self-released debut ‘This Is Broken Folk’ featured on MOJO Magazine’s top ten folk albums of 2019.

Back after his mesmerizing show at last year’s festival, this multi instrumentalist, singer and inventor will be joined by self-made bandmates Mother Superior and The Hornicator – and the Stringaling may make an appearance too!
4pm 5.45 pm Screaming Alley Cabaret Presents an Afternoon With Diane Chorley Plus Special Guests
Screaming Alley finally emerges from a 6 month period of hibernation, and who better to lead the way than The Duchess of Canvey herself, Diane Chorely. Accompanying her will be a sexy smorgasbord of the weird and wonderful – twisted chanteuse Katie McGarry, drag artiste Blanche Dubois, Screaming Alley’s dance troupe They Don’t Care, local sex bomb Charlie Partridge, the bard of Thanet Sophie Cameron and much more!
This event is strictly available for 16yrs and older due to adult content.
Dress code: classical, posh, togas, Sunday best, pants over day clothes, ostrich feathers, nature!! We dare you!
Please note that due to social distancing regulations and our commitment to creating a safe enjoyable event for everyone there are 4 booking options available. Tables of eight people, tables of six people, tables of four people or single deckchairs.
There will be a bar serving drinks and snacks at both Sonic Sunday events.
You’re welcome to bring your own water, but all other beverages should be purchased on site. As the evenings are getting chillier you may want to bring a wrap or blanket too!
