Liquid noise demonstrates the physical power of sound, both natural and man-made by using cymatics to visualise marine bioacoustics and underwater noise pollution.
The technique was developed for Annie Moir’s documentary A Voice Above Nature which explores the impact of human noise on humpback whales off the coast of Iceland.
The installation gives visitors an opportunity to see, hear and feel the songs of the Icelandic humpback whales and experience how they are being disturbed by human activity.
This event takes place between 12pm and 5pm between September 6th and 8th
Location: The Bedford Inn (downstairs) 29 W Cliff Rd, Ramsgate CT11 9JP
