The Estuary Sound Ark is a new project from The Radiophonic Institute which brings together new artworks and ideas formed out of the sounds of the Thames Estuary. The sounds have been sourced by those who live and work in the region. The new works will be played once to the public before being archived and untampered in a carefully found location for 100 years. At this year’s festival there will be the opportunity to listen to some of the works in progress from the project as well as contribute sounds and suggestions for what sounds to record yourself.
Date: 3rd & 4th September 12 – 5pm
