Our free events! Come one come all

Every year we bring a range of totally free events to our local community, and we have some special additions to that this year. The following events require no reservations, and you can just turn up!

Ramfamdisco!, August 28th- Our kids programme ends with the ever-popular and spectacular Ramfamdisco! Strap on your dancing shoes and dance the afternoon away in Ellington Park. More info on this event can be found here.

Drumming workshop with Taiko Dunlopo, August 28th- Join drumming group Taiko Dunlopo in this free workshop for all! Going through the basics for everyone, you’ll be taught the basics of percussion and how to make a noise. Just bring along something to make noise with, broom handles, and plastic tubs all work, just anything you can find. Get more information on this event here.

Bard Out Of Hell with Neanderthal Bard, August 31st- Neanderthal Bard is hosting a spoken word extravaganza at the Honeysuckle Inn. This is a deep and personal story with many trigger warnings, come prepared and we’ll provide tissues. Find out more here.

Hear the People Sing, September 5th- Join us in the Winterstoke Gardens for an afternoon of singing fabulousness. Featuring local talent alongside famous West End Performers, do your vocal warm-ups at home prepared to sing along when you arrive. Find out more about this event here.

Busk at Dusk, September 5th- YES… It’s back! The event spectacular that is our Busk at Dusk is returning after its roaring success in 2020. Find out more about the artists involved and the event in general here.

Sonic Trail, August 28th to September 5th- It’s worth remembering our Sonic Trail is always free, and this year is featuring 10 different installations across Ramsgate. Find out more about each artist and installation here.
